Candy up top, chocolate-cookie gas underneath and buds that ripen into green, violet and near-black. A balanced Pure Michigan x Runtz hybrid that finishes in 8-9 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Cadillac Rainbow is a modern American cross that joins two of the most requested flavor families on today’s shelves. The name says it plainly: heavy, polished Midwest muscle on one side and bright candy color on the other. It is built for growers who want a balanced hybrid that looks as good in the jar as it smokes.
Pure Michigan, itself a cross of Oreoz and Mendo Breath, supplies the backbone. It brings chocolate-cookie gas, dark pigment and a thick coat of resin. Runtz adds the sugary, fruit-candy top notes and the easygoing, feel-good character that made it a household name. Together they produce medium plants with sturdy side branches and dense, spade-shaped buds.
Phenotypes from this feminized line are fairly uniform and tend to settle on the same candy-over-gas profile. As flower matures, many plants shift from lime green through violet toward near-black under bright trichomes. These seeds are bred to produce female plants, so every seed you start is working toward flower.
Consumers commonly describe a cheerful, chatty start followed by a gradual, easy body calm that does not end the evening. Effects are often reported to last two to three hours.
The Runtz side leads with a happy, social buzz and easy laughter.
A loose, comfortable body feel settles in while the head stays clear enough to talk.
Most people report a contented wind-down rather than a hard crash.
With reported THC up to 29%, newer consumers should start small and wait before taking more. Dry mouth and dry eyes are the most common complaints, and some people report feeling anxious or racy at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Fruit candy and sugar on the first sniff, then a cookie-dough and cocoa layer with sharp fuel underneath. The smell builds hard in the last three weeks of flower, so run a carbon filter.
Adds the peppery fuel edge from the Pure Michigan side.
LimoneneCitrus, candyBrightens the fruity, sugary top notes.
LinaloolFloral, lavenderA soft floral sweetness common in candy-family hybrids.
Hang whole branches to dry for 10-14 days near 60°F and 60% RH, then cure in jars for three weeks or more. A slow cure keeps the candy notes from fading behind the gas.
Rated moderate. Sturdy branches and even growth make it forgiving in veg; the real work is airflow and humidity once the dense colas fill in.
Indoors, Cadillac Rainbow typically finishes at 3 to 5 feet, which fits a 4×4 ft tent comfortably once you control the stretch. Its branches are stiff enough to hold heavy tops, but supporting them with a trellis net in the second half of flower is still a good idea.
Run about 550-750 PPFD in late veg and 750-950 PPFD in flower. Topping once or twice, followed by low-stress training, creates a flat canopy of six to ten main sites. Lollipopping the lower third before week three of bloom sends energy to the tops and cuts down on larfy popcorn buds.
Moderate feeding works best. Taper nitrogen after the third week of flower and keep an eye on pH so calcium and magnesium stay available under LED lighting.
Most plants are ready 8 to 9 weeks after the switch to 12/12. Check trichomes with a loupe: mostly cloudy heads keep the effect upbeat, while letting 10-15% turn amber gives a heavier finish.
A typical indoor timeline. You choose the veg length; the bloom window comes from the genetics.

Outside, Cadillac Rainbow likes full sun and a warm, settled summer. Expect plants of 5 to 7 feet and a harvest around mid October across most of the country. Set plants out after your final spring frost, once nighttime lows stay above roughly 50°F, so they have a long veg run before days shorten.
Because the colas are so dense, autumn moisture is the main threat. Crisp nights near the finish deepen the color, but a week of rain can start mold inside the buds. Strip lower growth for airflow, keep a cover handy and be ready to pull plants early when a long wet stretch is forecast. The outdoor planting guide lists timing by USDA zone.
Home cultivation rules differ from state to state, including plant counts and whether growing is allowed at all. Review marijuana laws by state before you plant.
Dry, sunny falls let the dense colas finish clean.
Low humidity suits it; cold snaps in October can cut the season short at altitude.
Strong summer growth, but harvest before late-October rain and frost.
Muggy late summers and early cold make a cover or greenhouse worthwhile.
Persistent fall humidity is hard on tight, resin-heavy buds.
Cadillac Rainbow is a balanced hybrid, roughly an even split of indica and sativa. Its effects are commonly described as an upbeat, social start that eases into calm body relaxation.
Our supplier reports THC of 24-29%, which places it firmly in the high-THC category. Actual results shift with phenotype, environment and harvest timing, so treat the range as a guide.
Indoors, most plants finish 8 to 9 weeks after the light schedule changes to 12/12. Outdoors in the US, plan on a harvest around mid October.
A tuned indoor room can produce about 1.3 to 1.6 ounces per square foot. Outdoor plants in full sun can produce roughly 16 to 19 ounces each, depending on season length and care.
It is rated moderate. The plants grow evenly and handle training well, but the dense buds need good airflow and controlled humidity late in flower, so a little prior experience helps.
Expect fruit candy and sugar up front, followed by cookie dough, cocoa and fuel. Caryophyllene, limonene and linalool are the terpenes most often associated with this candy-and-gas profile.
Inland California and the Southwest are the best fit thanks to dry, sunny autumns. Colorado and the Midwest work with good timing, while humid Southeast summers make outdoor runs difficult.
Both parents carry dark pigment, and the color shows most when night temperatures drop late in flower. Running nights 8 to 10°F cooler than days in the final two weeks usually brings out the violet and near-black shades.
