Grape candy and sweet dough from a Do-Si-Dos x Purple Punch cross. A heavy, purple-leaning indica that flowers in 8-9 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Slurricane was bred on the West Coast in the late 2010s, during the wave of dessert-style indicas that took over dispensary shelves. Its name hints at the effect most people report: a slow-building storm of relaxation that arrives in stages.
The parents explain its character. Do-Si-Dos, a cookie-family descendant, brings dense structure, doughy sweetness and serious potency. Purple Punch is loved for grape-candy terpenes and rich violet color. Slurricane combines both into a compact, thick-stemmed plant with short internodes and round, tightly stacked buds that often blush deep purple under heavy frost.
It is a good example of a dessert line refined for strength without losing its color or candy flavor. These feminized seeds are bred to produce female plants, and phenotypes tend to land close together on the berry, grape and dough aroma, which makes for an even, predictable garden.
Reports describe a gradual arc: a warm, smiling mood lift first, then heavy relaxation rolling through the body over the next hour. It is a classic late-evening strain, with effects that often last two to three hours or more.
A content, smiling headspace that slows the pace of the evening.
Relaxation spreads through shoulders, back and legs in waves.
A heavy-lidded calm that usually ends the night on the couch or in bed.
With reported THC up to 28%, start with a small amount, especially if you are new to strong indicas. The most common side effects are dry mouth and dry eyes, and some people report anxiety or dizziness at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Sweet grape and mixed berries lead the nose, sitting on a soft, bready layer of cookie dough. A light earthy spice comes through when the buds are broken up. Odor ramps up in late flower, so a carbon filter is a smart move.
Carries the heavy, ripe-berry body of the aroma.
CaryophyllenePepper, spiceAdds the faint spicy edge under the sweetness.
LinaloolFloral, lavenderRounds the grape candy into a smooth, floral finish.
Dry for 10-14 days near 60°F and 60% humidity, then burp curing jars daily for the first week. A patient cure brings the grape and dough notes forward.
Rated moderate. Slurricane stays short and sturdy, but its tight buds trap moisture, so airflow and a late leaf-stripping pass are the keys to a clean harvest.
Slurricane is a classic heavy-indica build. Indoors it usually stays 3 to 4 feet tall with thick stems and short internodes, which suits a 2×4 or 3×3 ft tent. A short veg period is often enough to fill the space.
Aim for about 550-750 PPFD in veg and 750-950 PPFD in flower. Top or FIM early, then tie branches outward to open the center. Around week six of flower, do a light defoliation pass to remove inner fan leaves that block airflow.
Moderate feeding works best. Dessert indicas can show tip burn when pushed hard, so raise strength gradually and back off if leaf tips yellow. Under LED, add cal-mag through veg and early flower.
Expect most plants to finish 8 to 9 weeks after the flip. Nights around 60-65°F in the final week or two help bring out the purple. Judge readiness by trichomes: a share of amber heads gives the deepest, most sedating finish.
A compact indoor schedule. Its short frame means a shorter veg usually fills the tent.
Damp paper towel, 75-80°F
Mild light, 65-70% RH

Slow dry, burp jars daily
Outdoors, Slurricane wants plenty of sun and a dry autumn. Plants usually reach 5 to 6 feet and finish from late September into early October, which gives it a head start on the cold, wet weather that hits many regions later in the fall. Plant out after the last frost, once nights hold above about 50°F.
Moisture is the main enemy. Its tight buds hold water after rain or heavy dew, so space plants well apart, remove interior leaves and shake off branches after storms. A simple rain cover in the last two or three weeks can save a crop. Cooler late-season nights often bring out strong purple color. For timing, see our harvest date calculator.
Laws for adult home growing differ by state, as do plant limits. Review marijuana laws by state before you plant.
Sunny, dry autumns keep the dense buds clean through harvest.
Dry air and cool nights suit it; plan around early frosts.
An early-October finish usually lands before the coldest, wettest weeks.
Humid late summers call for heavy pruning and a rain cover.
Persistent heat and humidity make bud rot very likely in tight colas.
Slurricane is an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows short and dense, and its effects are known for building from a happy lift into heavy, full-body relaxation.
Our supplier reports THC from 20% to 28%. That makes it a strong strain, though the actual figure depends on phenotype, care and harvest timing.
Most plants finish 8 to 9 weeks after switching to 12/12 indoors. Outdoors in the US, harvest usually falls between late September and early October.
Indoors, a solid setup can produce around 1.5 to 1.8 ounces per square foot. Outdoor plants with full sun can yield roughly 18 to 21 ounces each.
It is rated moderate. The compact plant is simple to manage in a tent, but beginners need to stay on top of humidity and airflow because the buds are very dense.
Grape candy and mixed berries lead, backed by a sweet, bready dough note and a hint of spice. Myrcene, caryophyllene and linalool are often reported as the main terpenes.
Dry, sunny regions such as inland California, the Southwest and Colorado give the best outdoor results. The Midwest works with an on-time planting, while the humid Southeast is better suited to indoor growing.
The name plays on the way its effects are often described: a slow, rolling storm of relaxation that builds in waves. It also nods to the strain's thick, syrupy resin and sweet, candy-like flavor.
