Sweet dough meets OG fuel. A frosty, indica-dominant Girl Scout Cookies x Fire OG cross that stays compact and finishes in 9-10 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Animal Cookies comes out of the California cookie wave, bred in the state by pairing Girl Scout Cookies with Fire OG. It quickly earned a reputation as one of the heavier, frostier members of the cookie family, and it later became a parent in its own right for a run of newer dessert strains.
Each side of the cross pulls its weight. Girl Scout Cookies, itself a blend of Durban Poison and OG Kush, contributes the sweet, bakery-dough base and the cheerful opening lift. Fire OG, a particularly pungent OG Kush selection, piles on fuel, bud density and the weighty body feel that sets this strain apart from its gentler cousins.
In the garden it behaves like a tidy indica: thick stems, short internodes and golf-ball buds that frost over until they look almost white. Most plants stay true to type, though the occasional Fire OG-leaning phenotype runs a little taller and gassier. Because these are feminized seeds, every one you sprout is bred to become a flowering female.
People commonly describe a warm, happy start that slides into deep body calm, with the munchies arriving partway through. Most sessions run two to three hours.
A friendly mood boost that is easy to enjoy over a conversation.
The Fire OG side settles in as a heavy, loosening calm, often with a big appetite.
Larger amounts tend to drift straight toward bed.
With reported THC up to 28%, start low and go slow. Dry mouth and dry eyes are the most commonly reported downsides, and some people report anxiety or dizziness at high doses. These are general reports, not medical guidance.
Open a jar and you get sweet cookie dough first, then a wave of fuel and damp earth from the OG side. The smoke tastes like a sugar cookie with a gassy exhale, and it gets pungent in late flower, so run a carbon filter.
Drives the spicy fuel bite on the exhale.
LimoneneCitrus, sugarBrightens the sweet, doughy top note.
MyrceneEarth, muskAdds the earthy depth and weighty finish.
Hang branches to dry for 10-14 days around 60°F and 60% humidity, then cure in jars for at least three weeks. The cookie sweetness rounds out noticeably with a longer cure.
Rated moderate. It is a sturdy, well-behaved plant; the work is in keeping its dense buds dry and well ventilated through the last three weeks.
Animal Cookies is a strong choice for a tent. Plants usually top out around 3 to 4 feet with tight node spacing, so a 3×3 ft or 4×4 ft space holds one or two plants comfortably. It is rated moderate: the plant itself is forgiving, but its tightly packed flowers punish stale, humid air.
Target roughly 550-750 PPFD in late veg and 750-950 PPFD in flower under LED. Topping once or twice, then tying branches outward, turns its naturally squat frame into a flat canopy of even tops. Because airflow matters so much here, a lollipopping pass to strip weak lower growth before the flip pays off.
Feed at a medium strength and taper nitrogen by the third week of flower. Fire OG-leaning plants can show tip burn when pushed hard, so raise strength gradually and watch the leaf tips. Under LED, adding cal-mag keeps mid-flower leaves clean.
Expect 9 to 10 weeks from the flip. Use a loupe on the trichomes: cloudy heads give the happier, lighter side of the high, while letting 15-25% turn amber leans into the heavy, sleepy finish this strain is known for.
A standard indoor timeline. You choose how long to veg; the 9-10 week bloom is set by the genetics.

Outside, Animal Cookies grows into a stocky 5 to 6 foot bush and finishes in mid October. Set plants out once frost danger has passed and nights hold above about 50°F, and give them the sunniest spot you have.
A mid-October harvest is the catch. The buds are dense enough to hold water, so a wet October is the strain’s one real weakness. It does best where autumn stays dry, such as inland California, the desert Southwest and dry interior valleys. Elsewhere, open up the center of the plant, shake off heavy dew in the morning, and keep a rain cover or hoop house ready. Our outdoor planting guide lists timing by USDA zone.
Before you plant, confirm your state allows home cultivation and how many plants you can grow. See marijuana laws by state.
Dry, sunny autumns carry dense buds safely to a mid-October finish.
Dry air suits it, but a mid-October finish can collide with the first hard frost.
Cold, damp weeks in October arrive right as the buds are ripening.
Humidity and fall rain make rot likely; a greenhouse or indoor run is safer.
The long season helps, but constant humidity calls for heavy pruning and airflow.
Animal Cookies is an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows short and stocky with thick stems, and its effects lean heavily toward body relaxation after a brief, upbeat start.
Our supplier reports THC in the 25-28% range, which places it among the stronger strains in our catalog. Actual potency shifts with phenotype, environment and harvest timing, so treat that range as a guide rather than a promise.
Indoors, plan on 9 to 10 weeks of flowering after you switch the lights to 12/12. Outdoors in the US, plants usually finish in mid October.
A well-tuned indoor setup can produce about 1.3 to 1.6 ounces per square foot. Outdoor plants in full sun can reach roughly 18 to 21 ounces each, depending on soil, sun and the length of your season.
It is rated moderate. The plant is sturdy and compact, which helps, but first-time growers need a way to keep flowering humidity near 40-45% because the dense buds are prone to rot.
Expect sweet cookie dough and sugar on top, with fuel and earthy notes underneath from the Fire OG parent. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene are the terpenes most commonly reported.
Outdoors it does best in regions with dry autumns, such as inland California and the Southwest. In humid or rainy areas like the Northeast, an indoor grow or a covered greenhouse is the safer route.
Animal Cookies keeps the sweet dough flavor of Girl Scout Cookies but adds Fire OG for more fuel in the aroma and a heavier, sleepier body effect. It also tends to grow a little shorter and denser than its cookie parent.
