Diesel, garlic and wet-earth funk on a tough, heavy-yielding frame. An indica-dominant GMO x Lurch cross built for evenings, finishing in 8-9 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Mule Fuel brings together two heavy hitters from the savory side of modern cannabis. GMO, short for Garlic Mushroom Onion, comes from Chemdawg and GSC and is famous for its pungent, almost kitchen-like funk. Lurch is a selected Mendo Breath male, part of the same family that produced Peanut Butter Breath, and it contributes earthy, caramel-tinged depth plus a stocky indica build.
The result smells nothing like candy. Expect diesel fumes, roasted garlic and damp soil, with a faint sweetness from the Breath side that rounds off the sharpest edges. It is the kind of jar that announces itself the moment the lid comes off.
In the grow room Mule Fuel lives up to its name. Plants are medium height with thick, strong branches that hold up dense, blocky buds coated in greasy trichomes, and both parents pass along a hardy temperament that shrugs off small mistakes. These feminized seeds are bred to grow female plants, so every slot in your tent can go to flower.
Consumers commonly report a quiet, warm head buzz that gives way to steady, heavy body relaxation, a mid-session appetite and a sleepy close. Sessions often run around three hours.
A mellow mental buzz with a mild euphoric glow rather than a rush.
Relaxation builds in the shoulders and legs; snacks start calling.
Many people report heavy eyelids and an early night.
Reported THC reaches 29%, so take a small amount and wait a while before deciding on more. Dry mouth, dry eyes and grogginess the next morning are commonly reported, and some people feel anxious or dizzy at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Diesel and garlic dominate, backed by wet earth and a savory funk that lingers on the tongue. This is one of the louder strains you can grow at home, so a good carbon filter is not optional.
Drives the sharp, savory bite on the exhale.
MyrceneMusk, damp earthAnchors the heavy, soil-like base.
LimoneneCitrus peelA thin bright thread that keeps the funk from going flat.
Hang whole branches to dry for 10-14 days at about 60°F and 60% humidity. A slow dry keeps the garlic and diesel layers distinct instead of collapsing into hay.
Rated moderate. The plant is tough and tolerant; the real work is moving air through its oily, tightly packed buds in the last weeks.
Mule Fuel is a forgiving plant for its potency. It typically stays between 3 and 5 feet indoors, which suits a 4×4 ft tent, and it handles small swings in temperature or feeding without sulking. The moderate rating reflects the late-flower phase, when its dense colas need careful humidity control.
Give it roughly 600-800 PPFD late in veg and 750-1,000 PPFD in bloom under LED. Its strong lateral branching responds well to topping once or twice, followed by a SCROG net to keep every top at the same height. A round of defoliation just before the flip and another around day 21 of flower opens the interior to light and air.
Chem-family plants like GMO often take medium to heavy feeding in mid flower. Increase phosphorus and potassium gradually after week three, watch leaf tips for burn, and add cal-mag under LED lighting.
Plants usually finish 8 to 9 weeks after the switch to 12/12. For the heaviest, sleepiest result, many growers wait until roughly 15-20% of trichomes turn amber; harvesting at mostly cloudy keeps it a little more clear-headed.

Outdoors, Mule Fuel turns into a big, sturdy bush of 5 to 7 feet in full sun and ripens around mid October. Move plants outside once frost danger has passed and nights stay above about 50°F. Thick branches mean it rarely needs staking until the final weeks, when heavy colas start to lean.
Two things matter most. First, the finish needs dry weather: its oily, compact buds trap moisture, so fall rain or fog late in flower can open the door to mold. Thin interior growth, keep a rain cover ready and harvest a few days early if a wet stretch is forecast. Second, the smell is intense, so think about neighbors and placement. Our outdoor planting guide covers timing for each USDA zone.
Home cultivation laws differ across the country, as do plant limits for adults. Review the rules for where you live on our marijuana laws by state page before you plant.
Dry, sunny Octobers let the dense, resin-heavy colas finish without mold pressure.
Low humidity suits it, though an early high-elevation frost can arrive first.
A mid-October harvest is possible with an early start and a close eye on fall storms.
Damp autumns and early cold usually catch it before it ripens; grow indoors.
Plenty of heat, but humid nights put its tight buds at risk without strong airflow.
Mule Fuel is an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows stocky with strong branches, and its effects are commonly described as heavy and relaxing after a gentle mental start.
Our supplier reports THC of 24-29%, which places it firmly in high-potency territory. Actual results depend on phenotype, growing conditions and harvest timing, so the range is a guide rather than a promise.
Indoors it finishes about 8 to 9 weeks after you switch to a 12/12 light cycle. Outdoor plants across most of the US come down around mid October.
A trained indoor canopy can produce roughly 1.3 to 1.6 ounces per square foot. Outdoors in full sun, each plant can give around 16 to 19 ounces, depending on season length and care.
It is rated moderate, and its hardy genetics make it more forgiving than many high-THC strains. A newer grower will do well as long as they manage late-flower humidity and control the strong smell.
It is savory and loud: diesel, garlic and damp earth with a faint sweet edge from the Breath side of the family. Caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene are the terpenes most often associated with it.
Outdoors it does best in inland California, the Southwest and dry interior valleys where October stays sunny. In the Northeast and other wet-autumn areas, an indoor grow is the dependable choice.
Yes. GMO is one parent directly, and the other parent, Lurch, is a Mendo Breath selection from the same family behind Peanut Butter Breath. That mix explains its garlic funk paired with earthy, slightly sweet depth.
