Cool mint, fuel and candied fruit in one stocky indica-leaning plant. Reported THC of 24-27% and a fast 7-8 week finish.

Gush Mints pulls from three well-known American bloodlines. Kush Mints, the mother side, is valued for its cool, minty depth and its strength as a breeding plant. The father side is a Gushers x F1 Durb pairing: Gushers brings bursts of tropical candy fruit, while F1 Durb, a Durban-descended cut, adds old-school funk and a quick finish.
The result grows like a classic indica. Plants stay short and sturdy with thick stems and close node spacing, then fill out with dense, deep green flowers flecked with purple. An oily layer of resin coats the buds by the end of bloom, and the whole room picks up a cool mint and fuel smell.
That F1 Durb influence is a big part of the appeal for home growers. Gush Mints wraps up its bloom in about 7 to 8 weeks, faster than many dessert crosses. These feminized seeds are bred to produce female plants, and growers generally describe them as uniform and vigorous.
Consumers commonly report a short, smiling lift and a nudge to the appetite, followed by a heavy, settled body feel. It is widely considered an evening strain.
Mood brightens and snacks start sounding like a good idea.
Relaxation spreads down from the neck and thoughts slow to an easy pace.
Many people report heavy eyelids and an early night.
Reported THC of 24-27% calls for a light first dose, especially for occasional users. Dry mouth, dry eyes and grogginess are commonly mentioned, and some people report anxiety at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Cool mint hits first, then fuel and a sweet tropical fruit layer, with a creamy smoothness on the exhale. Expect a strong smell by week five of bloom.
Carries the sweet, fruity side from the Gushers parent.
CaryophyllenePepper, fuelGives the gassy, spicy bite under the mint.
HumuleneWoody, herbalAdds an earthy, herbal depth to the cool finish.
Mint notes fade fast in a warm, quick dry. Keep the drying room near 60°F and 60% humidity and let the buds cure in sealed jars for two to four weeks.
Rated moderate. The plant is sturdy and quick, but its tight, resin-heavy buds need consistent airflow late in bloom.
Gush Mints is built for small spaces. It usually finishes at 3 to 4 feet indoors with a stocky, bushy shape, so it fits a 2×4 or 3×3 ft tent without much fuss. The moderate rating comes mostly from its density: buds stack tightly and hold moisture, so the environment matters more than the training.
Aim for roughly 800-950 PPFD in bloom. Short internodes mean the center of the plant can crowd, so top once and use low-stress training to pull branches outward. Clear the small, shaded growth from the bottom of each branch around the flip so airflow reaches the middle.
A light to medium feed is plenty. This plant tends to show nutrient burn before hungrier strains do. Under LED, add a cal-mag supplement to keep leaves clean into late bloom.
Expect a finish about 7 to 8 weeks after the switch to 12/12. Watch the trichomes rather than the calendar: wait for a portion of amber heads if you want the full heavy, sleepy effect this strain is known for.
A typical indoor schedule. The short bloom keeps the total run tight even with a full veg.

7-8 weeks after the flip
Cool, slow dry, then jars
Outdoors, the quick bloom works in your favor. Gush Mints typically finishes in mid October, which is early enough to dodge many of the cold, wet spells that end the season for slower strains. In full sun, plants usually reach 5 to 6 feet and can produce around 18 to 21 ounces each.
Plant out once the frost risk has passed and nights stay above about 50°F. The stocky frame handles wind well, but the dense buds are the weak point if the weather turns humid. Give each plant room, strip the inner and lower growth for airflow, and harvest a few days early if a long rainy stretch is in the forecast. Our outdoor planting guide lists timing for each zone.
Laws on home cultivation differ from state to state, including plant limits. Check marijuana laws by state before planting.
Sunny, dry falls let the dense buds ripen with little mold risk.
The mid October finish usually beats the first hard frost.
Fast enough to finish before most cold, rainy late-season weather.
Humid late summers can bring mildew. Prune hard for airflow.
Plenty of heat, but sticky autumn humidity threatens tight buds.
Gush Mints is an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows short and bushy like an indica, and its effects move from a brief happy lift into deep body relaxation.
Our supplier reports THC between 24% and 27%, which is strong by any standard. Results vary by phenotype, growing conditions and when you harvest.
Most plants finish 7 to 8 weeks after the switch to 12/12 indoors. Outdoors in the US, harvest usually falls in mid October.
Indoors, expect roughly 1.5 to 1.8 ounces per square foot with an even canopy and strong light. Outdoor plants in full sun can produce about 18 to 21 ounces each.
It is rated moderate. Its compact size and quick bloom make it approachable, but new growers need to manage humidity carefully because the buds are very dense.
Cool mint and fuel lead, backed by sweet tropical fruit and a creamy exhale. Limonene, caryophyllene and humulene are commonly reported in its terpene profile.
Dry regions like inland California, the Southwest and Colorado suit it best outdoors. Its mid October finish also makes it workable in much of the Midwest.
F1 Durb is a Durban-descended cut that brings funk and a fast finish to the cross. It is a big reason Gush Mints flowers in only 7 to 8 weeks.
