Diesel fumes, lemon peel and cracked pepper. Motorbreath pairs Chemdawg with SFV OG Kush for a heavy-hitting, indica-leaning plant that finishes in 9-10 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Motorbreath is a California cross that put two of the gassiest families in cannabis into one plant. On one side sits Chemdawg, the old-school diesel line that sits behind a long list of modern fuel strains. On the other is SFV OG Kush, an OG selection from the San Fernando Valley prized for sharp lemon-pine notes and a sturdy, productive frame.
The pairing does exactly what the parents suggest. Chemdawg brings vigor, branching and that unmistakable exhaust-pipe funk. SFV OG adds structure, citrus peel and the heavy, settled finish OG fans look for. The plants grow medium to tall with strong lateral branches, and the buds come in chunky and deep green under a thick, greasy layer of resin.
The name is a fair warning. Open a jar and the first thing most people notice is fuel, loud enough to fill a garage. Growers choose it for that nose and for its potency. These are feminized seeds, so each one you sprout is bred to grow into a flowering female.
Consumers commonly report a warm, chatty lift that settles into long, steady body relaxation, with a strong appetite and drowsiness near the end. Most describe a session lasting two to four hours.
A bright, warm mood boost that often gets people talking.
Deep, even relaxation spreads through the shoulders and legs.
Hunger shows up reliably, and many people drift off afterward.
With reported THC up to 28%, go slowly and save it for the evening. Dry mouth and dry eyes are the most common complaints, and some people report racing thoughts or anxiety at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Diesel and gasoline lead, with sour lemon peel and black pepper behind them and damp earth on the exhale. In late bloom the smell travels, so run a carbon filter sized for your tent.
Drives the spicy, peppery bite on the exhale.
MyrceneEarth, muskGives the heavy, earthy base and settled feel.
LimoneneLemon, citrus peelCuts through the fuel with a sour lemon edge.
Hang branches whole at about 60°F and 60% RH for 10-14 days, then cure in jars. A slow dry protects the volatile fuel notes that a fast dry burns off.
Rated moderate. The plant is vigorous and forgiving through veg; the work comes in the long flower, when dense colas need dry air and steady airflow.
Motorbreath runs a little longer than most indica-leaning hybrids, so plan your space around a 9-10 week bloom. It grows 3 to 5 feet indoors and stretches noticeably after the flip, which makes a 4×4 ft tent the comfortable size. Expect a moderate grow: easy in veg, more demanding in the last month.
Run about 600-800 PPFD in late veg and 800-1,000 PPFD in flower under LED. The chem side branches hard, so topping twice and spreading the tops under a SCROG net turns that vigor into an even canopy. Clear the lower third of the plant around day 21 of flower; those shaded sites rarely fill out.
It takes a medium to heavy feed in veg and early bloom. Taper nitrogen by the third week of flower and lean on phosphorus and potassium. Watch leaf tips: OG-family plants show nutrient burn quickly if EC climbs too high.
Most plants are ready 9 to 10 weeks after the switch to 12/12. Check trichomes with a loupe. Cloudy heads with a small share of amber give the classic heavy finish, while pulling earlier keeps the opening lift brighter.
A typical indoor run. Veg time is your call; the long bloom is set by the chem-OG genetics.

Outdoors, Motorbreath wants long sun and a dry fall. Plants usually reach 5 to 7 feet and finish around mid October, which is late enough that the weather in the final two weeks decides the harvest. Set plants out after your last spring frost once nights hold above roughly 50°F.
Two things deserve planning. First, the colas are thick and resinous, so an early autumn storm can start mold from the inside of a bud. Space plants widely, strip interior leaves for airflow and keep a rain cover ready. Second, the fuel smell is strong outdoors too, so pick a spot that keeps you on good terms with the neighbors. Our outdoor planting guide lists timing by USDA zone.
Check your state’s rules before you plant. Adult home growing is legal in some states and not others, and plant counts differ. See marijuana laws by state.
Dry, sunny Octobers carry the long bloom to a full, clean finish.
A mid-October finish can run into the first hard frost at elevation.
Strong summer growth, as long as you watch for cold rain in the final weeks.
Short falls and damp nights push the finish; a greenhouse helps.
Heat suits it, but muggy autumn air threatens dense colas.
Motorbreath is an indica-dominant hybrid. Its effects lean toward body relaxation after a brief, upbeat start, and the plant grows with the sturdy, branching frame you would expect from a chem and OG cross.
Our supplier reports THC in the 24-28% range, which places it firmly in high-THC territory. Actual numbers depend on phenotype, environment and when you harvest, so read the range as a typical outcome rather than a promise.
Plan on 9 to 10 weeks of flowering after you switch the lights to 12/12. Outdoors in the US, it usually finishes around mid October.
A well-run indoor space can produce around 1.5 to 1.8 ounces per square foot. Outdoor plants in full sun can produce roughly 18 to 21 ounces each, depending on season length and care.
It is rated moderate. Veg is easy, but the long bloom and dense colas ask for tight humidity control, so a grower with one or two harvests behind them will have the easiest time.
Gasoline and diesel dominate, followed by sour lemon, black pepper and an earthy finish. Caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene are the terpenes most often associated with that profile.
Inland California and the Southwest give it the long, dry October it needs. Wetter or colder regions can still finish it with a greenhouse, a rain cover or an indoor grow.
Indoors, run an exhaust fan through a carbon filter matched to your tent volume and keep the space under slight negative pressure. Swap the filter carbon on schedule, because the odor peaks in the last three weeks of flower.
