Roasted chocolate, sweet cream and a coat of frost so thick the buds look white. An indica-dominant Cookies & Cream x Secret Weapon cross that flowers in 8-9 weeks.
In stock. Order before 1pm CT and it ships today.
Oreoz comes out of the dessert-strain wave that reshaped American cannabis in the late 2010s, when growers chased bakery flavors and ever-thicker resin. It quickly earned a reputation as one of the frostiest cultivars around, the kind of flower that looks sugar-dipped even before it is cured.
Each parent has a clear job. Cookies & Cream supplies the vanilla, cocoa and dough notes along with a stout, indica-leaning frame. Secret Weapon, a quieter strain descended from Cherry Pie, adds raw trichome production and a potency that tends to creep up rather than hit at once. The offspring kept the dessert nose and pushed resin output past both parents.
In the garden, Oreoz grows short and sturdy with thick stems and round, tightly packed flowers. Calyxes often darken toward deep green or charcoal, especially with cooler nights near harvest, which makes the white frost stand out even more. These feminized seeds are bred to produce female plants, so your space goes to buds rather than pollen sacs.
Oreoz is commonly described as a short, cheerful lift that settles into deep, enveloping body calm. Most reports place the full arc at three hours or more, which makes it an evening strain.
A brief mood boost, often with a sudden interest in snacks.
Heavy, full-body relaxation takes over and the pace slows.
Many people report the couch winning, then an early night.
With reported THC of 26-29%, small amounts go a long way, so wait before taking more. Commonly reported downsides include dry mouth, dry eyes and heavy drowsiness, and some people feel anxious or dizzy at high doses. General reports, not medical guidance.
Think of a cookie dunked in cold milk: roasted cocoa and cream first, a doughy sweetness in the middle and a smoky, slightly peppery exhale. The smell builds fast in late flower, so run a carbon filter.
Gives the smoky, toasted edge to the chocolate.
MyrceneEarth, muskRounds out the creamy base and the heavy body feel.
LimoneneCitrus, sweetA faint bright lift that keeps the dessert notes from going flat.
Hang branches whole and dry them slowly near 60°F and 60% humidity. A cure of three weeks or more lets the cocoa and cream notes round out.
Rated moderate. The plant is short and tough, but its dense, resin-soaked buds punish stale air, so airflow from mid-bloom onward is the main job.
Oreoz is a natural fit for tents. It typically tops out at 3 to 4 feet indoors and forms a squat, bushy frame with short gaps between nodes, so a single plant can fill a 3×3 ft space once it is trained wide.
Run about 600-800 PPFD in late veg and 800-1,000 PPFD in bloom under LED. Topping once or twice early, followed by low-stress training, turns the compact bush into a flat canopy of evenly lit tops. Lollipopping the lower third before week three of flower removes larfy sites that rarely mature.
A medium feed works best. Cut back on nitrogen once flowers set, since cookie-family plants show tip burn quickly when overfed. A cal-mag supplement under LED keeps leaves clean through mid-bloom.
Expect 8 to 9 weeks of bloom. Because the resin coat is so heavy, check trichomes under magnification rather than guessing by eye: mostly cloudy with a scattering of amber suits the strain’s relaxing character.
A standard indoor schedule. You decide how long to veg; the 8-9 week bloom is set by the genetics.
Moist paper towel, 75-80°F
Low light, 65-70% RH
Top early, train wide
8-9 weeks from the flip
Slow dry, then 3+ weeks in jars
Grown outside, Oreoz stays manageable at around 5 to 6 feet and is usually ready from late September into early October. That slightly earlier finish is a real advantage in places where autumn storms arrive by mid-October. Set plants out after your last frost, when nights stay above roughly 50°F.
Moisture is the main threat. Heavy, resin-packed buds hold water after rain or dew, so strip lower growth for airflow, give each plant room, and keep a rain cover or hoop house ready for wet spells. Our outdoor planting guide lists start dates by USDA zone.
Rules on home cultivation differ from state to state, including plant counts and where plants may be grown. Review marijuana laws by state before you plant.
Warm, dry autumns let the dense buds finish clean and frosty.
Low humidity suits it, and a late-September finish usually beats frost.
Its earlier harvest dodges most cold snaps if fall rain stays light.
Damp late summers mean regular pruning and a rain cover.
Persistent humidity is hard on such tight, heavy colas.
Oreoz is an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows short and stocky with dense flowers, and its effects lean heavily toward body relaxation after a quick, happy start.
Our supplier reports THC of 26-29%, so it sits firmly in high-THC territory. Actual numbers shift with phenotype, environment and harvest timing, so read that range as a typical result rather than a promise.
Indoors, most plants finish 8 to 9 weeks after the switch to 12/12. Outdoors in the US, plan on a harvest from late September into early October.
A well-run indoor garden can produce about 1.5 to 1.8 ounces per square foot. Outdoor plants in full sun can reach roughly 18 to 25 ounces each, depending on soil, season and care.
It is rated moderate. The plant is compact and forgiving in veg, but newer growers need to stay on top of airflow and humidity in bloom because the buds are extremely dense.
Expect roasted chocolate, sweet cream and cookie dough, with a smoky, peppery finish on the exhale. Caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene are the terpenes most commonly reported.
Dry, mild autumns suit it best, so inland California, the Southwest and the Colorado Front Range are ideal. Its late-September finish also gives Midwest growers a fair shot before cold, wet weather sets in.
The calyxes naturally lean dark green to charcoal, and cool nights near harvest push that color further. On top sits an unusually thick layer of trichomes, so the contrast between dark flower and white resin is part of the strain's look.
